These bodies of work, entitled Finders Keepers and Forbidden, are just a few series of my personal work.
Some which have been on display in galleries at the Southeast Museum of Photography and at Seminole Community College. These works are shot using a variety of film formats and cameras, ranging from twin lens to view cameras, then printed in the darkroom or developed and produced on site. They have been transferred digitally strictly for your view.
Above and beyond, I have to thank God, my family, and a circle of friends and mentors who have supported me throughout the years. Inspired by the works of well-known and controversial
photographers and artists, I have to give credit to Marianna Ross, Jay Spaulding, Chantale Fontaine, Susan Weinstock, Eric Breitenbach, Dan Biferie, Patrick Van Dusen, Anna Tomczak, Jona Kreisman ,
Pat Smith and my best friend/ husband Rob Horn for the support, mentoring, interning and personal inspiration they have given and continue to fuel me with. They are a major contribution to my art and self more than I can begin to describe. Chan, you are forever a part of me, and in my heart you are free. In your memory, I will always miss you and never give up. Thank you to PigTales, and those families and children that have and still take part in these series of work.
